An emergency session of the European Parliament is being held today (Thursday 26 March, 2020) in Brussels – but very few MEPs will be there. The session is being held to discuss urgent issues, mainly connected with the COVID-19 outbreak and members are being asked to take part on-line. Journalists and visitors are barred from the building, but senior spokesperson spokesperson Jaume Duche (pron: Dook) said it was vital that the meeting goes ahead…
